My brother is getting married...

My brother is getting married... And it's happening soon. What could happen on this momentous occasion?

1. Keeping a close eye on the wedding coordinators.
Look, one of my ex-bosses is a wedding coordinator. She's kinda an expert on these things, and she taught some tricks of the trade. I know when things are good, and when things start to go bad (and I might react quite publicly when some things DO go bad.)

2. Minor bossing around the the photo-video people.
Hey, what can I do? I work as a photographer, videogrpaher and onsite editor. These things fall under my scrutiny.
(Note: If anybody's reading, I hate to see equipment in the background! I've seen to many good shots ruined by a tripod!)

3. I might bring some "other people."
Yes,yes, I know that the food count is set and so is the size of the venue! It just so happen that I may need some "like-minded" people to talk to and double at how things are done.

4. Making my sister mad.
Though she has said many times that "she's preparing for the wedding (code speak for "I may try to slim down!") I might bring up these issues once in a while. Bubujee-bubu, Jeng-jeng boo?

5. Buy bullet-proof gear.
Kidding.
Yes, My family's not perfect, but with what I've observed during the preparation for the wedding (not to mention "Mother"...) I need to prepare myself for the inevitable "War of The Words!" or something. Fne, people in glass houses...

Quote about famlly from Grey's Anatomy, Season Two, Episode Nine, "Thanks for the Memories" (Yes, I know, It's about Thanksgiving, but weddings are not too far): "
Day people spend with their families. Too much family time triggers depression, repressed childhood rage, bitter disputes over the remote and way too much alcohol. People get stupid. People get violent. People get hurt. "

11th wedding Expo Philippines

Last September 3, The 11th Wedding Expo was held at the PICC Forum in Manila. I got the chance to congratulate Mr. Jason Magbanua, the one true master of wedding videography (Sound like Star Wars "Force"-speak).

Stolen shot of him and his team manning his booth.

Me and Master J himself.

Master J and two of his editors.
(Trivia: All of Master J's editors are females.)

Coming Soon: AVP about what happened before the Closing of the Expo...

Here's the kind of Windows laptop that I'd like to get... someday...

This seems odd since Intel is a "blue" company, but I like it in red!

Patty Pacheco's AVP: Behind The Scenes

Last April, a client of mine, Patty Pacheco, celebrated her 18th Birthday. Although her video documentation and AVP was tasked to my ex-employer, I did the "Behind The Scenes" video which was included in the final DVD I edited.
