My First "Baby": Ziona Rae

Yesterday, I took a few pictures of my "godchild" Ziona Rae Morales Javier. She's the newest family addition of my ally, Cecille.


I love black and white photographs. They look so simple yet so beautiful... And it gets better if the subject is a newborn baby.

Captured using Nikon L2 and Panasonic DMC-FX8 digital cameras, edited in Adobe Photoshop CS2 for dramatic purposes. Flash was only used once due to the fact that baby's eyesight can be damaged by strong light.

A wake-up smile...

... She looked so peaceful and sweet...

...Once she's asleep, it's difficult to wake her up...

...And she knows where to look as I took these pictures.
Go to sleep, baby boo... :)

My main concern with Ziona is that she's a "thumbsucker."
